I just got this email from another ESU tech person in Lincoln. It is a collaborative animation project that is explained in the message below!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I just came across what
appears to be an interesting collaborative project opportunity for multimedia
classes. It is called Rotoball 2009.
NUTSHELL: Every school or team follows a set of simple rules for creating a
15 second animated video. Completed videos are due in April 2009, when all of
the participating videos will be assembled into a single movie. The movie is
then shown at a student film festival in Shanghai, and made available online.
You can create your 15 second animated vidos with whatever tool fits your
curriculum; Flash, Photoshop CS3, etc.
